Every leader needs a day off
the thing that made me draw this originally was just thinking about how lively a character ghirahim is and how much he seems like the hero of his own story— the best way for villains to be imo— and then just going, well, what if he is, and fi and hylia are the bad guys? do i get swordfights with super buff and awesome stone cold bitch fi?
i know this isn’t a piece anyone’s particularly interested in but i like the colors in it and i am In Distress and needed to noodle on something totally inconsequential for a while. thanks for looking (and putting up w me).
This video is the definition of hype. Very well edited.
I want a video game based around this
the whole game is just about rescuing Princess but not a single one fits the “Princess” stereotype
Kobold Princess, Troll princess, Dragon (who is guarded by an evil Princess of course), Undead Princess, etc
I actually had a story in my mind that is very similar to this concept.
I would play the shit out of this no lie
for those who do not know who cybersix is.
I always feel so pained when people don’t know Cybersix.
Cybersix is a forgotten national treasure of Canadian programming — it’s an unexpected collaboration between the Japanese studio TMS Animation and the Canadian animation network Teletoon. It’s a loose adaptation of the Argentine comic of the same name and cancelled only after a 13 episode season run (probably because it was too good to exist) and market distribution thereafter has been limited and obscure at best.
The MC is genderqueer/nonbinary who presents as a male teacher by day and a lady crime fighter by night, has a brother who also happens to be a panther who also fights crime, has a bara love interest who is drawn to both identities, the villains are ex-Nazi SS agents, AMAZING ANIMATION, and so many other great things.
Also the opening is gorgeous.
^ All of this! If you haven’t watched Cybersix, try and find it, it’s SO WORTH IT!
It is not about who pays for the date. It is not about who moves the couch. It is not about who kills the bugs. It is not about who cooks the dinner. It’s not even about who stays home with the kids, as long as the decision was made together, after thinking carefully about your situation and coming to an agreement that makes sense for your particular marriage and family.
It is about making sure that nobody ever has to do anything by “default” because of their gender. The stronger person should move the couch. The person who enjoys cooking more, has more time for it, and/or is better at it should do the cooking. Sometimes the stronger person is male, sometimes not. Sometimes the person who is best suited for cooking is female, sometimes not. You should do what works.
But it is also about letting people know that it is okay to change. If you’re a woman who wants to become stronger, that’s great. If you’re a man who wants to learn how to cook, that’s also great. You might start out with a relationship where the guy opens all the jars and the girl cooks all the meals, but you might find that you want to try something else. So try it.
Has this been done?? I think this has been done. Pyro would be the perfect employee <3 Hang in there Chica! Pyro’s shift ends in an hour D:
Bonus: KEEP THE DOOR SHUT *Do the Dirty Pizza playing softly in distance*
I’m glad this happened.
I like the twist on reincarnation in Zelda. Like, these three people are fated to see each other over and over again, but it’s not based in true love. It’s just like… oh it’s this fucker again, we have to go fight him again.
And then Ganondorf lives for hundreds of years every time he gets reborn, so he lives through several of these cycles and recognizes the other two’s souls getting reborn over and over. Oh fuck it’s these kids again, ughhhhhghghghghghgh. WHY do they keep coming?!?!? why can I not stop themmmm
it’s like… fated antipathy. I love how in Wind Waker, Ganondorf says to Link, "It’s been a long time, boy," when it was the first time they met. I love how Wind Waker Ganondorf started recognizing a weird pattern in all of it, that he knew they would come around again to meet him eventually. I don’t know, I just get a kick out of it. It’s like they can always depend on each other, even after their world is destroyed.
Ganondorf is cursed to be their ghost and haunt them forever, but it turned out to be the opposite - they’re his ghosts and they keep coming back to life. They all haunt each other.
I also love that even minor characters get reincarnated and you see them throughout the ages, it just gives me a tingle of happiness in my heart. Nothing ever goes away completely.
